Introducing the Texique® series of high performing thickeners and emulsifiers for the personal care market, developed by UK headquartered, global chemical company Scott Bader who celebrated 100 years of the company in 2021.
The development of personal care products includes rheology modifiers for good aesthetics as well as the penetration of active ingredients. They are often referred to as thickeners, and also help to increase the viscosity of the final product. This will affect the way the product appears in its packaging, how easy it is to scoop from the container, how smooth it is to rub into the skin or along the hair and how effective it is to rinse and remove after use.
Formulated with a green chemistry approach the Texique® range is completely ethylene oxide free and has at least 60% naturally derived ingredients according to ISO 16128, none of which are animal-based making it the appropriate choice for achieving the perfect viscosity of personal care products.
The Texique HE range includes:
Texique HE10 (INCI: Sodium Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyltaurate Copolymer, C13-15 Alkane, Coco-glucoside)
Texique HE20 INCI: AMPS/HEMA Cosspolymer, C13-15 Alkane, Coco-glucoside).
Both are inverse emulsion rheology modifiers, pre neutralized and cold processable for the personal care market.
High Performance & Quality:
1. Emulsification - When used with 3% Texique in water with 30% emollients.
